11. SPECIFICATIONS FOR MASKS
The Kusi Wawa fabric face mask is made of two outer layers of 100% cotton and an inner layer of TNT filter.
Reusable cloth face masks are not classified or regulated as medical devices or personal protective equipment (PPE).
Instead, the Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, has published Specification 0065, which establishes the requirements that reusable masks for adults and children must meet in terms of the materials used for their design, manufacture, marking and use. Safety information:
Warning: This product is not a toy. Do not use with children under 2 years of age. Children must be supervised at all times when wearing masks. Never leave a mask on a sleeping baby or child, or someone who is drooling.
The masks must not be used by people with respiratory difficulties, or by people who are unconscious, disabled or cannot remove the mask by themselves. There is a risk of suffocation when wet, as a wet mask can prevent breathing through the mouth and / or nose.
The mask is supplied with a filter made of 50 gsm non-woven fused fiber, but it is NOT for industrial or medical use because the masks are not hermetically sealed and are NOT certified for this use.
This mask is NOT classified as a medical device or as a piece of personal protective equipment (PPE) under directive CE2016 / 425.
