Rubio Method

Rubio Method

One of the main complementary methods to the Kusi Wawa Method to relieve colic is the treatment of the small ones by a physiotherapist or osteopath specialized in the Rubio Method.

Today we will briefly explain what this method consists of and why it complements so well with the Kusi Wawa Method.

The Rubio method was created more than 30 years ago by a Spanish osteopath named Domingo Rubio (hence the name of the method). In short, said osteopath designed a massage of the digestive system whose objective was to facilitate intestinal transit. By mobilizing traffic, it favored the expulsion of gases and feces. It is estimated that with this treatment 80% of babies experience a considerable improvement.

And it is from this moment where the combination with the Kusi Wawa Method is wonderful. On the one hand, you are entrusting your child with the hands of a professional to promote intestinal transit. But as the previous paragraph says, this method allows the baby to improve but the colic continues to appear.

On a personal level, we are convinced that colics come back because, as we have already commented in previous posts, colic is a combination of physical and emotional factors. With the blond method, we can cover the most physical part of the colic but, at no time do we cover the most emotional part.
This is why colics continue to appear.
If we combine the treatment with the blond method, we can probably reduce the intensity of the colic attacks. But, at night, the crying will return anyway. At that time, it will be necessary to apply the Kusi Wawa Method to relieve your little one.
We will relieve physical pain through thermotherapy, at the same time we favor relaxation thanks to our masterful mix. For this, we will use our Wawa Band.
We are going to offer the emotional contact you need to finally calm down. For this, we will use our Wawa Wrap.
